Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, born in Decatur the state of Illinois on the 23rd July 1971, is an incredibly popular and rich Country Singer. LeAnn Kymes, as well as Krauss, were amongst the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss is an American bluegrass and country musician. She was born on the 23rd of July 1971. She was a teenager when she began her journey into the music scene winning local competitions at the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album when she was 14 years. In 1985 she was signed by Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. Then, she was invited to join Alison Krauss Union Station, the band she currently performs together. Her debut album as a collective with this group came out in 1989.
