Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first female gymnast from America ever to win four gold medals during the same Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win consecutive World All-Around titles. Biles along with her younger sister Adria were conceived from Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman at just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercises at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the top competition levels in the year the year 2011. In just two short years, she had become the best in her sport. Biles stood out for her consistently high performance and exuberant personality as well as the difficult routines she performed in the four events she competed in such as vault, uneven bars and the balance beam.
